Sensitive data. Some information you provide (such as religion/community, and your birth details used for horoscope) may be considered sensitive. We process it only to provide the matrimony features you choose to use, and only with your consent. You can use the core app without providing birth details.
Your profile is visible to other members for matchmaking. Private contact details are revealed to another member only after mutual interest (both sides express interest). Photos you mark as protected are shown only to your mutual connections. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
We share data only with service providers who help us run Vivaha AI, under appropriate safeguards: our cloud/database hosting, SMS/email providers (for one-time codes and notifications), the payment gateway (for transactions), and our horoscope-calculation service. We may disclose data if required by law. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data as described in our Account Deletion Policy. We may retain limited, non-identifying records where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and secure credential storage. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify you and the authorities of any breach as required by law.
Vivaha AI is only for individuals of legal marriageable age in India and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. A parent or guardian may operate a profile on behalf of an eligible adult family member.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date. Significant changes will be notified in the app.
